Artist Statement for Robin Broadfoot

"Everything is light and shadow"...in the Light Sculptures I have created since the mid-80´s, there is a definate influence of the following factors: My childhood infatuation with science-fiction and maschines, my early job as draftsman, my study of Art and graphic design at the University of North Florida and 5 Years of theater set design. These objects (in the meantime around 50 or so) create a play of light and shadow on the walls and ceiling of the room they are placed in. I also do commissioned work and installations. Shipping anywhere. I will be happy to send further examples upon request.
