Artist Statement:
Nicole Kristiana FitzGibbon is an artist who has been practicing art in the Philadelphia and Wilmington areas for the past 15 years. Nicole FitzGibbon's recent focus has been in exploring reaction and perspective to visual images within time through the Digital Art medium. She works with: digital photography, digital manipulation, digital drawing and hand-drawn or painted images on each piece. She blends the classic and the conceptual using these 21st Century tools.
"I use the butterfly as a stamp similar to those use in Asian artworks in each piece. Often they are hidden. I'm hoping people will enjoy finding them, and add their thoughts and stamps to the piece. To me, this practice makes the image/artwork have a sense of fun and be a living piece.”...
