| Biggest Artistic Inspiration |
My immediate goal is to find challenging work within the art world and also have time to work in my own studio developing my practice as I continue my personal research.
Currently my practice and research focuses on developing contemporary ideas of spirituality that challenge traditional dogma and imagery.
Presently I am looking for a suitable doctorate programme to help me formalise and direct my research.
I would also like to continue exhibiting off shore.

| Your Personal Biography |
I am a visual artist working across several disciplines at the same time. My strengths lie in printmaking, painting, photography, and more recently installation/sculpture.
My studio is situated beside native bush on our property in Dairy Flat. I have a growing interest in web page design and am developing strong computer skills on my Macintosh computer. I have always recognised and utilised art as a therapeutic tool.
I enjoy teaching and completed my MA with a view to teach at tertiary level.
I have been teaching at Manukau School of Visual Arts since 2002 as a part time lecturer in the Print Media department on the BVA/DVA programme.
Previously I have taught art at Toi Ora Live Arts Trust (a community Mental Heath Arts Project) and I have also been involved in a school holiday printmaking programme at Te Tuhi - the mark.
Ideally I am looking for a permanent position within the general ‘arts’ field that will challenge me and also allow me time to work at my own art practice.
