Born in Cardenas, Tabasco, Mexico. where i learned to paint under the guidance of my father and also took classes of drawing at an small school in Montemorelos, NL Mexico at the age of 9 years old. Family moved to Merida Yucatan Mexico later and finish school there, graduated with an Accounting Degree, after working in Mexico for many years in 1982 moved to USA, in 1985 open the first Latino Gallery in Seattle, WA, where i stared working as a full time artist, and also directed and curated. In 1998 stared the First Dia de los Muertos Festival wich still runs in Seattle. |
