| Your Personal Biography |
Born in Port-au-Prince Haiti in 1970 ,I began painting with my brother, Prego Duffaut in Canada at the age of 10 using watercolor. After two years there I returned to Haiti to continue painting under the advisory of my father, Prefete Duffaut- one of the masters of the Haitian Art. From 1990 to 1993 I worked with him in "IMAGINARY CITIES" and added another stroke in the style "BODY WITH DOUBLE NATURE".
In 1997, through my father, I met the famous painter Jean Claude Garoute ( known as TIGA). He gave me the name Dufo and helped me find my own style of painting and creating -"SPONTANEOUS CREATIONS".
In 1998 I studied at the Ecole Nationale des Arts and was taught by Ralph Allen and Dieudonne' Cedor.
