Pure delight awaits the
observer of the art of Shimon
Bar zeev.
The world he describes is
primeval, pure and innoccent.A
quiet lake, surrounded by palm
and cypress trees along
beaches, the contour of which,
soft and sensuous, is formed
by the surrounding mountains.
The brushstrokes create fresh
and vivid surfaces. The
subject is usually depicted in
the width , creating stability
and a sense of tranqil. The
use of colour and shape is
instinctive, and makes for
perfection and balance that
are entirely not childish.

the subjects spread out the
width of the sheet, that also
contribute to the feeling of
tranquil and stability. World
of clarity, that is, as it
were childish.
