| Your Personal Biography |
Silvana Soriano was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She works as a printmaker, painter and art teacher. Silvana began her studies in printing and painting at the School of Visual Arts, the centre of many important Brazilian artists, in Rio de Janeiro in 1980. She received her bachelor degree in Art Education at the Bennett University, Brazil, in 1988. Her teaching experience includes universities, public schools and private workshops.
Silvana Soriano has been an exhibiting artist and printmaker for over 20 years. She has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in Brazil, Spain, France, USA and Cuba.
