Artist Statement:
I feel fortunate to have worked continually full time on custom commissioned portraits ,murals ,and sculpture for for almost forty years.
PORTRAITS- DRAWINGS, PAINTINGS, AND SCULPTURE
Capturing the essence of my subject ,physically ,emotionally and spiritually has been my focus.
I work from a live sitting or from photos.I can combine separate favorite photos of your loved ones to create group or family portraits.I can work in any size or medium( charcoal, pastel, watercolor, oil or various forms of sculpture. The timeless gift of a portrait to honor ,memorialize, or show your love is a warm a personal tribute .
My portraits hang in museums, private residences, schools, corporate boardrooms, churches, and hospitals,
MURALS-
My body of murals have been commissioned to decorate homes,restaurants,health and fitness centers,manufacturing facilities, corporate offices, and a host of other unique applications.
Size has ranged from three feet to 75 feet, in length.
I put directly on the surface, be it ceiling, interior wall, or exterior surface. Or canvas can be painted and then applied to the surface for easier portability.

Formal training -The Penna. Academy of the Fine Arts
Morris Docktor has been working continually as a commisioned Portrait painter ,Sculptor ,and Muralist,for forty years.
His commissions come from the private,corporate,and public sector alike.
Docktor is classically trained and works in oil .watercolor ,pastel ,bronze ,wood ,stone and most of the visual mediums.
Portraits are rendered from life or photos.
