Artist Statement:
When I was a little, I felt
some inspiration from old
masterpiece painting. Since
then, I have dreamed to be a
painter like them. So, I
studied fine arts at Kyuong
Song University in Korea.
After graduated and got
married, I couldn¡¯t any art
work for a while. I think I
came to art later in life and
found that it is never too
late to pursue my dreams. To
follow my dreams, I moved to
United States to study
painting more since 2006. The
wonderful Americans figurative
paintings inspire me
I have been struggled with
figure painting to find human
figure form and anatomy with
great teachers at National
Academy in NY. All objects
have an exterior beauty as
well as an interior essence.
I try to use the large brush,
keep freshly wet as they meet,
enabling the paint to be
blundered or merged as desired
and striving for a flowing
loose. My big goal is
expressed exterior and
interior beauty beautifully by
my own visual language as a
figurative artist. I wish I
would be at there in a short
time.

Welcome to Eun Yun's Portfolio.
