Welcome to Shelly Lahar's Portfolio.
In my last semester of classes, I felt deeply troubled by the Iraqi War and what other mothers must be facing as their children fight for our country and painted a series on the Iraqi War and terrorism. I have had four paintings chosen for the Student Art Show in the spring of 2004, and have had the two war paintings shown selected for the 2005 Student Art Show with one semester of painting to go. I've also exhibited a piece in the Members Show at our local gallery in 2004 and 2005. I certainly hope you enjoy the work I've created! Please let me know if you do!
