Artist Statement:
Hello, equine and sporting art enthusiasts. Thank you for your interest in my artwork and download of my android app, "awhitehorse".
When I was a small child, my grandfather, Johnny Rebar, would take me to ride the ponies at the Seattle Woodland Park Zoo on Saturdays. Grandpa had been a rodeo cowboy during the depression, and passed his love of horses onto me, by sharing colorful stories from his brief pre-war rodeo days.
I usually paint or sketch something every day, and then post the image right to Facebook, giving you an early preview of my available artworks. Join AWhiteHorse Arabian Horses and Art Gallery Page, to be among the first to see my newest prints, drawings, and sculptures.
Limited edition giclee prints and portrait commissions are available; several are sold exclusively to support equine and children's charities.
Today, I'm still Grandpa's "horse crazy" girl. My husband, Phil, and our four daughters, treasure wonderful memories of several wonderful Arabian horses and beloved pets. We're currently owned by four cats, and enjoy hiking and trail riding with friends whenever possible.
Download my free android cell phone app, "AWhiteHorse", to share my daily artistic and fundraising activities. ...

I was always drawing. It is how I see, it is how I learn, and it is how I share the world around me. It is my passion. |
