Style:
Modern day surrealism explores alternate realities & subconscious ideas. Many factors come into play, like dreams, individual perceptions, and modern urban life. The viewer should look at the work and find their own perception of what they see. Like a rorschag test, everyone's unique vision sees something different based on their life experiences and their observation of the art. The idea is to capture a really deep moment in time and portray it in a way that can be looked at over and over again to let the viewer find new interpretations of the moment. Images are increased in contrast and brightness to create bright, saturated colors and reinforce the idea of an alternate reality. Real but not real.
