Artist Statement:
Welcome to Gisela
Sylviadotter´s portfolio!
I´m born 1950 in Stockholm,
Sweden and I´m living in the
countryside in the middle of
Sweden.
My studio have a fantastic
wiew over a beautiful
landscape in the river valley
called Indalsälven.
In my emargery I like to be
inspirated of old cultures,
symbols and myths.
I create my pictures from my
feelings and thougts about the
living in the past and today.
I work in several tecnics,
mostly printing on fiber,
serigraphy and painting
acrylic.
In the future I will show you
