Artist Statement:
The purpose of my artwork is
to provide peace of mind,
pleasure and balance to the
beholder. My work envolves raw
materials taken from nature
and embedded into smooth and
cosy shapes. The main concept
focuses fusion between two
materials, the inorganic stone
and the organic wood, joined
together to create a work that
invites a contemplation of
cosmic balance....

| Your Personal Biography |
Telmo Mota, born in 1977 in Oporto region, Portugal. Bachelor degree in Artistic Drawing at ESAP (Superior Art School of Oporto), between 1995 and 1998. Graduate degree in Fine Arts-Sculpture at Fine Arts School of the University of Porto (FBAUP), between 1999 and 2004.
