Welcome to Teri Ockey's Portfolio.
Since I was a child, art has always been a very integral part of my life. My work today derives from a deep appreciation of the beauty of the human form, which began early in my artistic development and continues to be a very powerful creative force.
I embrace trying new art forms, styles and techniques, and my artwork is ever evolving. Art Photography, as a means of expression, enables me to create association and unity from distinction and variety.
Today as an artist, I use the beauty of the human form as my subject matter, and the soul of humankind as my inspiration. I use selective lighting, deep shadows, and mood-setting colors, combined with the graphical nature of form, or the graceful expression of curve, to create a sensual, aesthetic experience.
Whether you participate as a subject in one of my model-oriented custom art designs, you are a collector of art, or you are simply an observer, I invite you, the viewer, to experience a different kind of intimacy…your sense of ‘self’.
We are all connected in this soulful microcosm of life…through art.
