| Biggest Artistic Inspiration |
My art work is a reflection of my being. As long as I can remember, I have been intrigued with people and connecting with a glimpse of their truth, a realness of who they are, and the beauty of their layers. Through my work I have come to realize the character of a person is not unlike that of a building. At first glance, their life and history may seem evident in their exterior facade; old and decrepid, solid and timeless, poorly constructed with a fake fancy facade. Be it with people or buildings, my curiousity gets the best of me to seek what's beyond those exterior walls. It's not usually what's expected, but that's joy of it. Connecting with people, whether it's a stranger or my best friend, has enriched my life and inspires my art.
