Tsisana Kavtaradze
An artist-painter Tsisana Kavtaradze was born in Tbilisi, Georgia.
In 1963 Tsisana Kavtaradze entered the Tbilisi 35th Secondary School(eigth years).
In 1964 she also entered the Tbilisi 140th Musical School(seven years). Tsisana Kavtaradze graduated from Musical School with honors in 1971. Continuing with her musical education, Tsisana Kavtaradze began attenting classes in 1971 at the Tbilisi Musical College No.2 after Z. Paliashvili. Completing four years of study, Tsisana Kavtaradze graduated with the degree-The Specialist in Music Theory in 1975.
Tsisana Kavtaradze began painting at the age of twenty-five. Her first teacher was Vazha Jalagania, the film painter. In 1988 Tsisana Kavtaradze entered the Tbilisi art College No.11 after M. Toidze. One year later, graduated from the college with honors, Tsisana Kavtaradze acquired the Profession of Puppet Maker. As a student in 1989 Tsisana Kavtaradze participated in the art exhibition of students from the former Soviet Republics, held at the 'Exhibition of National Economic Achievement in Moscow'.
Continuing her arts education, Tsisana Kavtaradze enrolled at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, in 1989 she began a 6 year curriculum. Her first year was with the faculty of Decorative and Applied Arts, specializing in Leather-Haberdashery. In her second year Tsisana moved to the faculty of Easel Painting, trained by professor Ilo patashuri. In her third year of study Tsisana began attending classes at professor Zurab Nizharadze's studio. At the academy her teachers included professors: A.Popiashvili, T. Jincharadze, T. Shatirishvili, as well as others. Tsisana actively participated in the exhibitions arranged at the Academy of Arts. In 1995 Tsisana Kavtaradze graduated from the Academy of Arts. Her diploma work entitled 'The Blessed Garden' was displayed at the Christmas Exhibition in 1996.
In the same year Tsisana Kavtaradze exhibited her works in the Ethnographic Museum 'Karvasla', 'Artists of the Ninety's', arranged in Tbilisi, under the auspice of the Festival 'Gvinobisa'.
New York City is home since 1998.
In 1998 Tsisana Kavtaradze receaved the equivalent of a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Painting an accredited institution of higher education in the United States.

In 2008 Tsisana Kavtaradze got married, changed her last name, and become Tsisana Kavtaradze-Eyerman.

--Tsisana Kavtaradze-Eyerman's art works include oil paintings, acrylic, mixed media, drawings, clothing and footwear and photography. Her paintings are executed using expressive-abstractive-decorative styles; free and drastic strokes; restive rhytem; rich and vivid coloring full of temperament, contrariness and dramatic effects. Her paintings are notable for their originality of conveying the idea, where common conditionality of images is unified in the whole.
