Artist Statement:
Conceptualy my pictures and
prints are united by human
figures.Numerous figures in
smoll format are occuppaid in
playing movements and works.By
reremodelling well-known
themes in my own art
practice,in the piece"Jole de
vivre for example I
communicate my interpretation
of the world and humanity.As a
classic graphic art technique
lonocut-with its precise flat
decorative surface is ideal
for developing a symbolic art
language.Language is a
poetic,synthetic vision of the
world covering a few sequences
in time of history of art and
history of human fate,in a
wide specter of archeological
relics,the remnants of
primitive art and associations
of classic styles up to the
liberated forms of modern
art.My most frequent motifs
are nostalgy for primeval
harmony,longing for lost unity
of a man and his natural
surroundings,sacral motifs
evoking lost spirituality....
