Artist Statement:
I specialize in unusual one of a kind contemporary abstract art created using glass like pigmented epoxy resin. My art consists of interactive layers of resin along with added elemental textures that conspires to create a distinctively contemporary vision. These visual bursts of form and color allow ones mind to explore my images at a pleasing rhythm.
My artwork is created using resin as the medium. I begin by grinding dry pigments into the crystal clear resin. The resin starts off as a thin maple syrup then slowly thickens to a thick honey and finally a hard gel. The resin is under constant movement for hours. This alchemical process allows for fluid, translucent layers of color that cannot be achieved in any other medium. The ability to move and rearrange the mutable image for hours on end is fascinating to watch. An image gestates, grows and develops a life and personality of its own.

| Your Personal Biography |
Paul has been involved in the photographic process for over 38 years. His work with texture and color has brought him critical acclaim in Los Angeles where he has lived for the past 25 years before moving to Nevada. His fascination with working with his hands has given him the ability to be very patience allowing him to create elaborate textures and colors on his finished prints
Paul became in involved with Polaroid Time Zero Film just a few years ago, the film that was used to create his photographic images, and stayed with it till the end of the films lifetime which ended in 2006. The process was very creative with the ability to physically move the jelly like emulsion as the image developed sometimes recreating a totally new image from the original scene.
Beginning in 2006 Paul began exploring the use of epoxy resins in his artwork and has not looked back since. Paul discovered that the freedom of mixing his own pigments and dyes into the resins allows for transparent layers that cannot be achieved in any other medium. The ability to move and rearrange the image for hours is fascinating to watch as the image grows and develops a life and personality of its own. The high gloss along with added textures and materials create a very modern look.
