Aesthetic born out of harmony and balance is a very important part of my art but I also want to create a strong dialogue. Although I feel deeply influenced by Asian cultures and my admiration goes to countless unknown artists of the past, I am also drawn to nature, its forms and colours. At the same time I feel the responsibility as an artist to show the uncomfortable issues of our society, using figurative, sometimes abstract imagery.
