WILLIAM PINEDA was born in 1952 in Puerto Berrio a beautiful village in the Department of Antioquia in Colombia.
At the age of 16 years started on the path to the Fine Arts, he began work on his first creations in the workshop of one of his cousins, who at the time had already recognized the figurative painters of Bogota.
William Pineda learns to appreciate the importance of art in society, and action decided entirely empirical work and live painting.
By 1970 William Pineda became Artistic Painter and began his first trip outside of Colombia due to Caracas Venezuela by then was a fairly important economic center in South America.
In little more than 15 years William Pineda had managed to build a painting technique to get into the world of art, to exhibit in Medellin for the Guillermo Cano Auditorium, located in the mayor of the city. Antioquia on their land, with a continuous series of samples by the various social clubs, 2 Donating Works of whom served as financial assistance for the restoration of the University of Antioquia, once again leaving their indelible mark on other important city the Country.
Their stay in United States helped him to make some plays in a group show organized by the California College of the Arts. After this return to Colombia to continue struggling with the art and this time reaching into the sculpture, and performing a series of exhibitions in Central America more precisely and Costa Rica Panama City, where seeping into achieving high social class of this Countries.
Spain has also experienced the presence of this Visual Artist, exhibiting in several galleries, including Gallery Puerta de Alcalá in Madrid.
In Asia it has also left its mark by participating in the pooled sample organized by the Hippodrome in central Hong Kong Happy Valley Race, where the Gallery Asian Arts Production admires her talent and offers a space to display their works in the gallery which was quite successful. The Polo for William Pineda is a passion that's perhaps one of the few artists in the world that reflects the Polo project and achieves the power of sport.
