Artist Statement:
I've been involved in art in
some from since I was a young
child. I've been involved
with photography since the age
of 10 and until the last few
years it was my main form of
artistic expression. Over the
last few years I've been
dabbling in acrylics and my
passion for them has become
one of the main focuses of my
life. I also love to
experiment with pen and ink,
and acrylic with oil overlay.
Primitives hold a special
place in my heart because of
the feelings of nostagia,
whimsy and life in a simpler
time.
I also love still life for the
exact opposite reason that I
love primitives. The realism
of a still life and the hope
of presenting it in a slightly
different perspective appeals
greatly to me.
Basically, I love to paint.
Period.
