Why Did You Become An Artist I love looking at paintings and I wanted to make them myself. I've been practicing making my own marks for over 20 years.

Your Personal Biography I was born in Bad Zalzuflen, Germany in 1923. As a child my life was very pleasant with very good parents. However, I lost them both at a young age and went through a troubled and dark time in my life. I ended up in San Francisco in 1937 and have called it home ever since (except for a short stint in Bakersfield that I am trying to forget). I married in 1950 and started a wonderful family from there. I have felt many emotions through my long life that I have expressed in my paintings. I hope you enjoy my pieces.
