| Your Personal Biography |
Elise Wiener received her Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University, Massachusetts in 1983. She received additional training in Computer Aided Design at the School of Visual Arts in New York City and in Weaving/Fiber Art at Massachusetts College of Art in Boston. After founding At the Easel in 1988, a handmade paper and greeting card company whose trademark was sewn paper, her company achieved national and international success. Elise won two Louie Awards for excellence in design, as well as placing first runner up “Card of the Year” at the New York International Stationery Show.
Over the past 10 years, Elise has immersed herself in pottery, printmaking, bookbinding and writing. She worked as a Pottery Instructor from 2006-2008 and was President of Studio Potters in New Haven, Connecticut. |
