| Why Did You Become An Artist |
Painting brings me Peace and Tranquility. I enjoy using my imagination by bringing color and texture together with various mediums. |

| Your Personal Biography |
I am a self taught artist that started drawing cartoon characters as a young girl. My interest in drawing was encouraged by my parents, who instilled confidence in me to want to explore the artistic world. I truly believe that my fascination for art was hand down to me from my mother, who is a very talented artisan in various forms.
As time moved on, I entered into college for Business Management and from there the corporate world. It was then that I pushed art to the side in order to sustain a stable environment for myself. Years later I met the man of my dreams, my husband Brian who encouraged me to start drawing again as a hobby. I started taking community classes in 2005 from the Dupage Art League that expanded my drawing into painting. I have not looked back since entering into this world of Acrylic and Oil on Canvas and now Glass!
Now that I am back where I belong, it is truely a joy ride from being voted '2006 People's Choice' of Bolingbrook IL, pieces sold and currently displayed at The Southside Community Art Center, eBay, pieces displayed at the office of Stone Crossing Apartment and my first creations on glass ('Sand Dune Collection) currently displayed at Community Bank in Glen Ellyn, IL. I have also received media attention being named "Favorite Artist" on CLTV news blog (May 2009) and Chicago Tribune article (June 2009) and currently working my glass art to be displayed in a Glass Art Book this Fall!
I thank God for LIFE and this gift along with supportive family and friends who have brought my passion back into existence!
