| Your Personal Biography |
Yvonne Wilson Boone earned a BFA from Old Dominion University in 1979. Yvonne worked as a technical illustrator before pursuing a career in fine art. She has demonstrated and taught classes throughout the Hampton Roads, Virginia area.
Yvonne Boone’s paintings and photography have been exhibited in numerous exhibitions across the US, winning a number of awards. She has earned signature status in the Virginia Watercolor Society, Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers Society of Washington, DC., and the International Society of Marine Painters (former member). Recently she has gotten accolades for her photography.
Yvonne lives and works in Poquoson, Virginia with her family. She loves living by the water, but enjoys traveling to experience other environments which often are portrayed in her artwork. Favorite subjects include harbors, gardens, landscapes and architectural details. |
