ZDRAVKA MATEEVA
artist statement, about my
watercolor
I prefer to have water as
media.
The water managed by my brush
leaves traces behind.
I can not see the borders in
the World around us but if you
have any in your mind.
The borders sometimes are
sharp outlines.
A look through the branches of
winters trees to strictly
architectural forms or to
invisible difference between
the Sky and the Earth.
I try to make a visible haiku.
My genre is not determinate.
I use elements of landscape,
still life, abstract,
figurative.
my inspirations:
-quotations of the Nature
-biological surfaces
-earth textures
-signs of civilizations
-secret life of small things
-and parallel with human
relationships
