Zoltan Gerliczki was born in NYiregyhaza, Hungary in 1971. He was raised in Budapest’s orphanage during Hungary’s communist regime. He is a self-taught painter, illustrator and computer artist who has worked for various magazines such as Io Donna and the Paris Review, as well as the design houses of Cristiano Fissore and Christian Lacroix, Penhaligon’s.
Zoltan Gerliczki’s work, a series of landscape paintings, was first shown at the Elizabeth Street Gallery in New York City in 1998. Two years later he exhibited his series of portraits at the same gallery. His work was also shown at the Stephen Downes Gallery in New York City, both in 2002 and 2003. Flowers exhibited in Paris November 8, NoGoodWindow Gallery 2005.
Zoltan Gerliczki currently works as a graphic designer in Paris, France. USA, New York.
