Artist Statement:
In my work with heavy modeling
pastes, clay and mache I
reverse the process of
revealing fossil and
geological forms, laying down
layer upon layer of materials,
objects, and "artifacts" --
some hidden forever within the
construction.
Inspiration stems from
concrete aggregate to highly
polished gems and minerals
