Artwork Description:

From its name you can assume it’s the grandest canyon, but until you see the enormity of the landscape with your own eyes it really is hard to imagine the scale and awe of this landscape. We explored the canyon over many days from the south rim, taking some long steep treks into the canyon. The colours and layers of the canyon reveal a snapshot in time that is hard to comprehend. A beautiful place to explore. I added a pair of wolves for interest, they are rarely seen in the area.
