I HAVE SEEN REAL GREAT ART OF FIRE AND GLASS DURING MY LATER YEARS..;-) smile goes to 'later'.. REALLY DESIRED TO COLLECT MANY.. COULD NOT AFFORD TO PAY WHAT DESERVEDLY DUE TO THE ARTIST.. NOW.. LOOK.. I PURSUE MYSELF.. FOR WEEKS.. EACH WEEK 3 HOURS INTENSIVE !!!!! CREATIVE WORK.. SMALLEST DETAILS.. FLOWING DESIGN.. WHAT HUES!!!!!! MAN!!!! AND I REALLY DO OFTEN RISK, TO 'LOOSE' THE WHOLE ART PIECE IN KILNS HIGH HEAT, DUE TO MY EXPERIMENTING.. LIKE .. IT IS GOT TO WORK.. I WANT THIS STONE.. OR COPPER PIPE.. OR HUE !! OF GLASS HERE.. OR WHEREVER THAT MIGHT BE AT THE TIME.. IF A FRIEND OF MINE, WOULD NOT HAVE DROPPED THIS ONE.. WHICH WAS OHHHH SO BEAUTIFUL THEN... SUCH BLUES!!!.. I WOULD NEVER HAD TRIED THE DUMP METHOD.. SWUBMERGING A SEARING RED, FLUID GLASS PEAQCE INTO COLD WATER... SO IT WILL SHED A LOT OF GLASS, I NEED TO GET OFF, TO CREATE NEW, WITH WHAT IS LEFT.. I JUST LEFT THE OUTSIDE ROUND.. LETS SAY.. UP TO 3 INCHES.. AND THE OTHER WAS ALL IN BOTTOM OF BUCKET.. UNDER WATER.. GLENN BRIGGS, GLASS ARTIST DID THE DUMPING FOR ME.. ONCE COOLED OFF.. I DID A DAY BEFORE NEXT GLASS ART STUDIO.. I HAD TO TAKE HAMMER, OR ROCK, WHICH I DID.. AND BANG GLASS IN MIDDLE OFF... WAYYYYY TOO HEAVY, TO CREATE ANEW THERE.. THEN, ONCE BACK AT GLASS ART STUDIO, DOLLY, OUR GREAT TECH, WHO KNOWS THE INTERACTIONS OF GLASS, HUES OF, ETC... ETC.. TOLD ME, IF I WANTED TO CREATE AGAIN, NEEDED TO SCRUB SURFACE, SO NO BLACK AREAS.. ETC. ETC.. AND THE PUT COLORED FINELY CRUSHED GLASS OVER THE SURFACE.. IN MY CREATIVE DESIGN, HUES.. SO I DID.. THEN FIRED.. AND MUST TELLL YOU.. BLOWS ME AWAY.. THE GENUINE INTEREST.. AND SHARPNESS DISAPPEARED IN KILN, SINCE BECAME LIQUID, AND SMOOTHED OUT.. I GOT IT BACK.. SMOOTH.. AND 'WENT FROM THERE.. TO HERE'.. WHERE IT IS NOW.. SO MUCH BIND-BOGGLING DETAIL.. NOT DONE TOTALLY.. AND BOY, DOES LIGHT AND GLASS CREATE MAGIC... CONT.
