Bruno Paolo Benedetti - Bruno Paolo Benedetti, born in the year 1954, began to take pictures, studying perspective and photo techniques, in the year 1968. Since the begin he was concerned with black and white photography, observing the contrast s of the nature, the lights and interpreting the reality around him. When he was 25 he began to work in the dark room, enhancing his technique using filters, high contrast films for making his first pictures of surreal and abstract photography. At the same time he began journeying around Europe and the world: India, Nepal, Bhutan, Southern America, South Africa, Egypt, Comoros islands are some of the most visited places. The study of the religions, the mysticism in all of them, inspired his artistic production, especially his surreal photography, where cultural and religious archetypes are depicted. The abstract non objective photography is the other branch of his work. It starts from the observation of the nature in all its manifestations: water, lights, colors, shores, flowers, ice All the colors are not elaborated and strictly natural, highlighting hidden particulars and changing the images into fluid shapes, where each watcher can see new images created by his emotions and fantasy. In both styles of pictures the ...
Mary Mansey - The Mediterranean Sea--with its streams of color, its light, its reflections--has fascinated me since I was a child. Water continues to be the main source of inspiration. Water is constantly changing and I seek to capture its many forms, before they disappear, in my photography. While nature is the starting point, abstraction is the goal. I capture the natural world only to enhance it through careful manipulation with digital imaging software. My multi-layered images begin with a single photo, which is transformed and sometimes combined with other photographs. The goal is to achieve the expressiveness of painting through the artistic treatment of the images. Even though I never use human figures, my photographs are ultimately more about people than about nature. The ripples and reflections represent ephemeral, passing moments that can be briefly perceived by the camera or human eye. ...
Katie Pfeiffer - My goal or artistic process is to examine personal relationships and feelings in a humorous way using a multitude of imagery from everywhere. I like to mix up my drawing and paintings with found imagery to create something new. I look to imagery made for children ( especially school primers from the 50s and 60s) as well as stickers to express my naive and child like look at "Adult" subjects. Exploring mysteries of my own desires as well as comment on the stereotypes which exist in female and male relationships. I want my art to envelope the viewer with color, humor and feeling. In the past few years I have started to explore the relationship of light and dark and the association with positive and negative emotions as well as make several collections of "ugly" paintings with text which explore my personal relationship with men, family and people in my life. All my art is original and I do not list prints or copies of my work. Most of my paintings are done in inks or acrylics. ...
Stefan Van Der Ende - My sculptures are Solutions for Non/existing Problems . Now is the time to collect them. They are rare and unique ,and there are not many of them , also due to the big amount of time it takes to make the biggerones in wood and stone . They are made dreaming/thinking and working intensively , whith the intention to be able communicate emotion through their abstract/associative visual appearence which relate to subconcious processes in the human mind .(specialy mine ofcourse ) There are often more pictures of one sculpture , because ,as you know you have to see sculptures from more sides , to get a good impression .
