Artwork Description:

This image is titled "Shaggy". I was at a gas station in Houston when Shaggy approached me. He asked me if I had a boyfriend; I lied and said "yes". He then followed with "I guess I couldn't share your bed with you then?". I told him that I didn't think that my boyfriend would like that. We began talking and he shared with me that he had just gotten into town from Austin. He said he didn't know why he bought a ticket to Houston, but never the less, he was here. I had no money to give him, but asked if he minded if I took his photograph. As I walked away, I realized that a small part part of me longed for a free-bird lifestyle, just as Shaggy lived everyday.
