Artwork Description:

A Satyr stares from just near the edge of the composition at a self composed Nymph, relaxing within the framework of two barely suggested columns. The whole is patinaed by being left outside to accumulate color, which adds to the sense of depth. A trace of previously painted background elements has all but disappeared. This piece was stolen in early 2011, along with fifteen others.
