Artist Statement:
I have never duplicated an art
work with the exception of
creating fine art etchings,
block prints, and hand pulled
serigraphs. These are rare and
in editions under twenty. In
painting I have struggled to
create unique masterpieces
that can never be copied
because of the layering and
complexity involved in their
production. To acquire a
single work of mine is
equivalent to acquiring a
single monument to time and
labor. The price of these
items in cash terms are modest
and based entirely on a fixed
time scale rather than a false
market value subject to the
whim of changing fashion. ...
