Welcome to Metin Topa's Portfolio.
Borned in Istanbul in 1950..After collage education, worked in different banks and insurance companies. In the year 1992, as he kept on his job in insurance business, he begun to studying art and took courses from drawing and painting in different Turkish masters' work shops (Hasan Kavruk, Mehmet Güleryüz, Temür Köran) until 2002..And since that date he focused on painting.His inspirations come from human,his behaviors and feelings.His works applied to the expressionism in painting which varies between figurative or abstract expression. Recently, he is painting in his own atelier with two artist friends in Istanbul..He had two solo exhibitions and joined many group exhibitions.
