Artist Statement -



Barbara Stamegna was born in Rome in 1971 and since childhood shows a strong inclination for art, especially for drawing. But it’s only starting from 1991 that she fulfills her dream and she starts dedicating herself to art with great passion. Since then she received many awards and appointments for the highly professional results and expertise obtained in the art world with her paintings.
EDUCATION

1998 University Degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures – Università degli Studi di Roma Tre – Rome
Her paintings are exhibited at the Municipality of Cranston Rhode Island – USA and in private collections in Los Angeles California – U.S.A., as well as in the National Museum Gli Etruschi of Livorno Italy and in Italian private collections. National and local newspapers and magazines as Il Messaggero, Il Tempo, Arte Cairo Editore, Il Resto del Carlino, Corriere Adriatico, Voce Misena, Il Tirreno, Latina Oggi, Il Corriere Laziale, L’Inchiesta, Corriere del Sud Lazio, Gaeta Bay Gazette, Il Resto, Accademia, Confronto, Golfosport wrote about her painting as well as of her awards.
