Krystii Melaine is passionate about painting the people and animals of the American West. The Australian-born artist now lives in the USA where she paints Native Americans, cowboys and their horses, and the wildlife surrounding her home in the north-west. Working in oils on linen, she captures the spirit of her subjects in strong and atmospheric works of fine art. Represented by top galleries in the USA, Krystii's paintings have been selected for prestigious Museum exhibitions such as Masters of the American West, Quest for the West, Cowgirl Up!, The Russell, The Buffalo Bill Art Show, and Birds In Art, and have won numerous awards. Krystii Melaine is also an award winning portrait artist, and has completed many official and private portrait commissions. She is a member of the Portrait Society of America.
