Artists Describing Their Art:
Tyrone Webber - hi my name is tye I have been drawing for as long as I can remember for many years now with huge gaps in between. I recently started drawing again these last two years due to having to give up work and look after my wife wich has given me a little more time also to spend on my artwork I usually draw in graphite but secretely love to experiment with different ideas and would love to be able to paint as well as I draw but alas still under practice I try to make a statement in my mixed media works and at times have been told I do manage to stir emotions in my work which is what I do try and do I think theres nothing worse when once a work is completed then I take a look and it seems a little flat and meaningless with no soul and thats something wich I do try to avoid if I can I started mainly doing portraits but as we know the web is full of thousands of portrait artists all seem to be doing the same thing so I am trying things a lot differently one small ...
Alexander Boytsov - Come to me home, I will show you unknown folk artists ... Fain Ranevskaya The year I was born is 1961. I have no special artistic training - I am self-taught. My drawing is an attempt to put my reflections and experiences on a blank slate. I dont have blind spots where the viewer has to come up with an idea on their own. I dont push him on the path of free interpretation of what he sees, but I present to them the fact of seeing things as I understand them now, this minute. As is. Attractive or not, clean or dirty - thats my view, thats my understanding of the world at the moment. The choice is up to the viewer to accept it or not. Drawing has always been a part of my life, and Im glad that I can now share my work with you. ALEXANDER BOYTSOV...
Chelsea Noyon - I create realism. This is my passion. It doesnaEURtmt matter the medium. I both draw and paint using pastel pencils, graphite, coloured pencils, acrylics, and even digital drawing. I am a traditional artist but I also have a great love for drawing digitally. To me, digital drawing is just another medium. I love animals. I grew up with horses, dogs, cats, goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs, the list goes on. It was basically a small farm. This inspired me to draw animals as a career. I do custom equine and animal commissions in addition to my original work. This has a lot of meaning for me since I truly understand the love one has for their dear animal loved ones. My artwork immortalizes these wonderful animals who touched our lives so significantly....
Jeanette Locher - I have been an artist since I was a child, always dabbling in paints and other media. I wanted to be an artist in the professional atmosphere since I was in High School, but unfortunately, I didnaEURtmt have the support that I needed to pursue that dream. I got deterred to another profession but after many years of doing what I needed to do to get by, my heart was still an artist and needed to be set free again. I recently started up my creative juices again and am having fun doing what I love to do best, creating beautiful images for others to enjoy. I do paintings and have had one art show this past December in Detroit. It was very exciting as the opening night I sold one of my pieces. I also am a published poet, photographer and songwriter. I love nature and most of my work is based on nature and the outdoors. I can only try to capture what the greatest artist, our Creator has already done, within my photography and paintings. I have a dream, as do all artists of being discovered outside my small part of the world and am working ...
